The Journey
Whats up y’all! My name is Tomáš and I am a Czech beatmaker. I found myself falling in love with music a long time ago. I always admired musicians and wanted to try making music too. I first downloaded a DAW called Cakewalk in 2019 I think, but I wasn’t really dedicated to learning how to produce and I didn’t really understand how the programme works, so I unintalled it. After about 3 years, in 2022 I tried again and downloaded a free DAW called LMMS, in which I am still working, and I finished my very first beat on 30th January. You can listen to it on this website if you want, or click the link under the play bar to take you to my SoundCloud where I upload all of my beats.
As you can hear the bass is a bit annoying and sounds weirdly cut off. Also the sounds are poorly mixed and they really need some work to be done on them – for example add some reverb to the snare etc. Since the release of my first piece of music I’ve been making more and trying to get better at it. I tried making a whole lot of genres, from lo-fi, to oldschool boom bap, to trap, to even drill or ambient sounding Young Lean type beat. Here are my top three favourite beats i made with the first one being a Clams Casino/Lil B – 6 Kiss/Early A$AP Rocky inspired beat. The second one is a Griselda type beat with an old-school boom bap feel in it. The last one is kind of really drum based, guitar melody beat inspired by SIMILIVINLIFE.
